Mahadeshwarabetta in Kollegal taluk of Chamarajanagar district recorded maximum rainfall of 91mm in the last 24 hours up to 8.30am on May 8. Chincholi hobli in Chincholi taluk of Gulbarga district recorded maximum temperature of 38.4?C on May 7 at 2pm. Mundgod hobli in Mundgod taluk of Uttara Kannada district recorded lowest minimum temperature of 17.6?C on May 7 from 11.15pm, KSNDMC, Bangalore stated. More than 90% relative humidity has been recorded in 46% geographical area in the state. Less than 25% of relative humidity has been recorded in 6% geographical area in the state. Rainfall over the state is considered as scattered since 44% of the hoblis and gram panchayats recorded rainfall of =2.5mm.
