Flash Mob Enthralls Visitors At Gateway Of India On Rashtriya Ekta Diwas

Visitors to one of India’s most iconic monuments, Gateway of India in Mumbai, were in for a treat on Monday when the site became the backdrop for a flash mob on the occasion of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day). The day marks the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, one of the founding fathers of the nation, also popularly known as the ‘Iron Man’ of India. As the elaborately dressed performers appeared among the throng of people at the Gateway, visitors were spotted taking selfies with them. A violinist struck the opening notes of ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha’ and soon people had encircled the troupe, setting the stage for the dance.
