Filmic Cultural Excitement continues at 8th Jagran Film Festival

Mumbai, September 20, 2017: The third day of the Jagran Film Festival saw Zeenat Aman, Tannishtha Chatterjee, Anant Mahadevan, Ballu Saluja, Barry John, Ringo Banerjee, Vinay Pathak & Vinod Panday grace the red carpet much to the enjoyment of the audience attending India’s largest traveling film festival in Mumbai. The cinematic and culturally enthused audience enthralled the third day of The Jagran Film Festival, under progression, in Mumbai. India’s largest and only Traveling Film Festival is on a seven-days tour in the city. The event has had an elaborate schedule on-cards with many cross-cultural films with movie titles including Black Cat and Charlotte (English) showcased today. The highbrows of the Mumbai society also indulged in a flavorful evening watching Spanish, French and Arabic cinema. 

The festive mood at the Jagran Film Festival was upbeat and represented a scene of cultural engagement and social involvement through personal impressions and deep conversations. People, who are akin to various aspects of cinema and appreciate the inventiveness of cross-boundaries life portrayed on the big screen, were in for a special retrieve on the third day.   

The 2017 edition of the Jagran Film Festival is culminating in Mumbai on September 24. The week-long schedule in the city marks the end of the beginning of a cinematic jubilation, which started from Delhi on July 01, 2017, and made a journey through the Indian hinterland including cities like Lucknow, Varanasi, Bhopal, Indore and more.

The bouquet of 130 screenings plan in Mumbai includes famous titles from Bollywood, regional cinema, and many more movies from across the world to entertain the big gathering at the event every day. Only yesterday, the crowd greeted Barry John of the ‘Barry John Acting Studio Fame’ with great enthusiasm and with a sense of immense patriotic achievement in the creative field. Earlier, on the inaugural day of the event, people were seen cheering for their legendary sports hero, Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni as they enjoyed watching the reel action of their personal lives.
