Be it walking the ramp at a charity fashion show or performing at concerts, Bollywood celebrities proactively participate in charitable endeavours. And the recent shining examples are that of filmmakers Farah Khan and Karan Johar deciding to donate their entire prize money — of Rs 11.5 lakh — won on Shah Rukh Khan’s reality show Sabse Shana Kaun. Farah is associated with a Mumbai-based NGO, SNEHA – Society for Nutrition, Education and Health Action, which works for health issues of women and children in urban slums. The money Farah and Karan will donate to the organisation will go towards the betterment of women and children living in Dharavi, Mumbai.
